A Glimpse of Yesterday's Dream

À vaillant coeur rien d’impossible. -Jacques Cœur
“For a valiant heart nothing is impossible.”

My name is Rodrimarie Joelle E. Alcayra

I'm 18 years of age and I considered myself a happy virus.
I have many dreams to the extent, I don't even know where is the starting point

Years have passed, I'm still the same person who usually makes a smile.

And one thing that I am reassured of is, what I want to be and how will I improve the best version out of me.

DREAM

I want to become a doctor. Being one is not only my dream but also my parent's. I don't wish to be the wealthiest and most highly graduated doctor the world's ever seen but I want to be one who will serve her people and country in a true manner. In fact, I don't want to be a doctor for only patients but for the needy too. Although I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea to be faithful, humane and achieve great degrees at the same time but it is worth a try. I always want to feel the pride of being loyal to my patients and my duty.

HEALTHCARE ACCESS IN COMMUNITIES

When I become doctor, I want to visit rural places in which education
and healthcare access is not that visible.

When I become a doctor, I want to visit rural places in which education
and healthcare access is not that visible. I want to give the unfortunate one's
the best quality of service that I can offer. Giving free medications to those rural
residents is one of my plans that I want to accomplish and pursue with.

EDUCATION IN RURAL AREAS
Another plan in which I want to push through is Rural education. Education in the rural segments is not only important to eradicate poverty and illiteracy, but also for a variety of other social, economic as well as cultural and political reasons. . The role of education, both urban and rural, is huge in growth of the country's economy.
